Khurshid Narmatov has 10+ years of combined experience as a manager in internal auditor and internal control specialist roles in the shared services centers, FMCG, and the banking industry.

 

Khurshid has an extensive experience in mapping business processes, identifying related risks and control points to mitigate those risks ensuring management has a solid control over effectiveness and efficiency of the processes on high level as well as on a process level. Projects include purchase-to-pay, business process management control implementations as well as effectiveness testing.

  • TBC Bank Uzbekistan (first digital bank in country) 2022 - now. Lead internal auditor responsible for the overall performance of the function at the digital online bank. Led audit and review projects in processes such as Digital Onboarding and Verification of individual clients, Bank Loan Portfolio, Installment business front and back-office processes, and Collection. Presentation of findings to the executive management as well as at the supervisory board level and providing recommendations to mitigate the risks and improve overall reliance on controls.

  • Orient Group Management (2021). upervised PF&A and annual budget preparation of 4 large production companies, as well supplying top management with various financial reporting data to support strategic decision-making to ensure profit margins consistent with the plan.

 

  • Heineken (2017-2021). As a Group Senior Auditor, was involved in various audit projects across CEE operations, including providing assurance over the effectiveness and efficiency of the business processes of operating companies under review. Also, as a Senior Internal Controls specialist, led bi-annual reviews of procure-to-pay process controls to ensure risks within the process that have an impact on financial reports are working as intended and are to be relied upon by the top management. Continuous support to the mid-management to ensure their concerns are addressed and audit recommendations are implemented on time in full.

 

  • PwC (2015-2017). Acting as the main driving force in the capacity of an senior auditor and reporting directly to the manager in the absence of the engagement senior on projects in industries including construction, oil & gas and chemicals, retail, and media.

 

  • Deloitte & Touche (2012-2014). Preparing written reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for areas of improvement, with a focus on the specific risks and complexities of the banking industry. Additionally, assisting in the audit's follow-up phase, including reviewing management's responses to audit findings and ensuring that any recommendations are effectively implemented.
